Mediation

Barnes Alford has two certified civil court mediators who can assist litigants in resolving their cases prior to trial. In mediation, both sides agree to utilize a neutral outside party (i.e. a mediator) to help them reach an agreed upon settlement. As opposed to an arbitrator, the mediator does not issue a binding decision, but rather suggests proposals for the parties to consider. Mediation may save clients time and money if their disputes can be resolved outside the courtroom. Our attorneys can help clients decide which method of resolution is right for their particular case.
