Mr. Hill’s practice includes a wide variety of civil defense litigation, business and corporate law, and the occasional plaintiff’s case.  He regularly represents both individuals and businesses in personal injury litigation.  He also assists with business-related matters, such as negotiating and drafting contracts for commercial matters.  Mr. Hill also takes a real interest in representing injured South Carolinians and helping them get the relief and justice they deserve.

Mr. Hill graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College in 2017 with a B.A. in Accounting.  Immediately thereafter, he attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he discovered his passion for the law.  While in law school, Mr. Hill was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, the Order of the Wig and Robe, and the Order of the Coif.  He also participated in the Kondurous Leadership Development Program, the Civil Litigation Capstone, assisted in the drafting of a Domestic Violence Code for the Catawba Indian Nation, and had an externship with the Honorable Mary Geiger Lewis of the District Court of South Carolina.  In addition, he received numerous CALI awards for his studies in various subjects.

Mr. Hill started clerking for the firm in the summer of 2018 and continued clerking with the firm up until his graduation.  In May of 2020, he graduated with his J.D (magna cum laude).  After taking and passing the South Carolina Bar Exam, he started practicing with the firm full-time in the fall of 2020.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Hill enjoys spending time with his longtime girlfriend, Melanie, and their three pets: (1) Luke, (2) Leia, and (3) Murcie.  When he can find the time, he also enjoys reading, playing games, exercising, and following Gamecock athletics.  Mr. Hill also has fun traveling around the United States and has been to 48 of the 50 states.  In the coming years, he hopes to visit Alaska and Hawaii to complete this quest.
