Roger Way is currently of counsel with Barnes, Alford, Stork & Johnson, LLP. He received his B.A. degree from the University of the South in 1969, graduating cum laude with honors in English. He went on to complete his law degree from the University of South Carolina, cum laude, in 1975. He was elected to the Society of Wig and Robe. He was admitted to practice in South Carolina in 1975 and received an L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University in 1977.

Mr. Way is a certified taxation specialist and practices in the areas of taxation law, estate planning, and retirement plans, including ESOPs. He served on the Taxation Law Specialization Advisory Board from 1999 to 2001. He is a member of the Richland County and American Bar Associations.
