Mr. Sopp graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 with a B.A. degree, double majoring in journalism and political science. In 2010, he earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the South Carolina Law Review. While in law school, Mr. Sopp clerked for Barnes Alford for two years. Mr. Sopp practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, workers’ compensation, contract law, and appellate practice.
